Title or Location: Llandudno in September
I visited Llandudno for the first time. It was a special trip with my cousin. We had fought a long battle for recognition of past injustice. We won and we celebrated by visiting beautiful Llandudno and made some beautiful memories.

Title or Location: Silvanus , God of Wild Nature.
Quite the beginner, I'm drawn to the magical aspects of nature. Semi abstract, wet on wet watercolour is my favourite , which allows me to paint wild nature, but put my own magical slant on it! This piece was inspired by a tutorial by Joanne Boon Thomas.

Title or Location: 'Once Upon a Midnight Dreary '.
The piece was inspired (as was the title) by my love of Edgar Allen Poe's Poetry . It's from his poem The Raven. I'm very much a beginner and love experimenting with semi abstract watercolours. I painted it on a stormy , wet and menacing Manchester afternoon, my room littered with candles and my Guinea pigs sleeping soundly! I am very interested in everyday social environments. I also make lino prints of everyday scenes, influenced by the Namibian artist John Muafangejo who captured scenes from his environment documenting the everyday. I've always wanted to try watercolour but didn't feel very confident. This painting was one of my first watercolour experiments.

Title or Location: Ted?s Beach, Lake Peddar
This stop on the shores of Lake Peddar in the Southwest National Park in Tasmania was beautifully wild and chilly. Snow on the mountain range behind, and the tannin stained waters of Ted?s beach are what I tried to capture in this beginners watercolour. My technique has improved since then but this scene is still a favourite.

Title or Location: Mrs. Korman
As a girl I lived in a small community of nearly all Italian immigrants or first generation to USA. One lady stuck in my memory because she always wore a kerchief, as she picked fresh dandelion greens for her salad lunch. We kids were a "tribe"every morning running through the field next to her small home smashing the young greens. She would run out shaking her fist yelling "Youse Kids! Youse is CaCa! Youse kids is Shit!! Our mother put a stop to us running through the field. So I made this p
